I spent the afternoon at the Aerospace Museum of California today. I have to admit that I've lived my entire life in Sacramento and until a few weeks ago I didn't know this museum even existed.
I love this place. All the history. The chance to actually walk inside some of the historic airplanes that they have on site.
The docents that wander the area are very helpful and excited to teach you about the history of the planes. One plane was actually used during D-Day in World War II.Aerospace Museum Website
