You couldn't have asked for a nicer evening to enjoy The Cripple Creek Band.  The country/southern rock band entertained the crowd with their Lynyrd Skynyrd inspired music.

Rocklin Police Department

I had the pleasure of meeting with Police Chief Ron Lawrence of the Rocklin Police Department today.  We talked about how I could use my drone to help promote the City of Rocklin.  

Chief Lawrence gave me a tour of the station.  Wow... it wasn't what you would think a police station was like.  Very modern, clean and high tech.  Was fascinated be the 911 call center.  Very cool how the large projector map of the city shows the location of all the police cars and fire trucks.

Jog-A-Thon - Adventure Christian School

Adventure Christian School held their annual Jog-a-thon today.  It was a beautiful day and the kids were in great spirits as they raised money to help improve their school.

This year they are raising money to replace the preschool tables and chairs.  After 15 years of use its about time to retire the current furniture.  They are also raising funds for a gym and sports field for the kids.  If you would like to make a donation contact Robin.
