Meet Tim

I've always thought about writing a blog but never really knew what I wanted it to be about.  I'm definitely not a writer.  Never liked it in school and never really enjoyed writing.

When I began my real estate career everyone would say "You need to write a blog about real estate."  And all I could think was "How boring that would be."  Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I love helping people with the biggest purchase of their lives.  Watching their families grow and blossom in their homes.  But I don't consider myself a salesman and writing a blog about real estate seemed to "salesy" and boring to me.

I'm kind of a techno geek.  I enjoy learning about new technology. When I first heard about drones I did a little research to see if it was something I could use in my real estate business.  Being able to take photos and videos of my client's homes seemed like a great way to make their home stand out, but other than that I wasn't sure how else I would use it.

Then one day I was on Facebook and saw a video someone had posted of the Old Fair Oaks Bridge taken from a drone and a light went off in my head.  I could write a blog about Sacramento!  I love Sacramento and what a great way to share our beautiful town.  Let people see it from a different perspective.  So far, I'm having a blast sharing my videos.    I hope you enjoy seeing Sacramento from up above.

Do you have a suggestion about what you would like to see filmed or have a question about real estate?  I'd love to hear from you.

  1. Tim, what great way to see the ol' alma mater. It has changed some but not too much since graduating in '81. That brought back some good memories that I could share with the family. Thanks for the aerial experience. Sabra

  4. I read the great article in the Sacramento Bee about your drone and your blog. I live in Rio Vista, CA but we visit Sacramento regularly to visit my son and his wife, great town and great food. I was a former employee of Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, CA and we are trying to restore the Logo on the Causeway Bridge.
Is there anyway I could get you to use your drone to showcase the deteriorated current condition and old bolts that hold the logo on the North Tower of the causeway? The video from your drone could be used to help us solicit future donations and be posted to U-Tube and your blog.
